Today though, we couldn't help but share some behind the scenes news coming from our innovation team. We have been selected as a finalist at South Summit 2026, one of Europe's most prestigious innovation competitions — and we're heading to Madrid tomorrow to compete.
Reaching the final is a recognition of the work our team has put into building tools that make data more trustworthy, discoverable, and usable for organisations that depend on it.
South Summit brings together the world's most innovative startups, investors, and corporate leaders, and this year's final is no exception. MetadataWorks has earned a place in the Trustech & Data category final, alongside nine other standout companies: Secrets Vault, JudIT, Simplyblock, Peris, MicelioData, Riskita, Captain Compliance, Coalex, and Naltilia. The quality of the field reflects just how much momentum there is in the data and trust space right now — and we're proud to be part of it.
While we're excited about the competition itself, one of the things we value most about events like South Summit is the opportunity to meet other technology companies and like-minded founders. These conversations often spark new ideas, partnerships, and perspectives, and we're looking forward to connecting with fellow entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders throughout the event.
